'Elizabeth' wins at the Chicago Indie Horror Film Festival 2013!

March 2013 starts out with a BANG!

A short film I was in, 'Elizabeth' screened at the Chicago Indie Horror Film Festival over the weekend. Elizabeth is a dark, thrilling little film that was honored to be nominated for Best Actress (Verona Blue) and it won Best Editing at the festival!

My favorite commercials of 2012

My favorite commercials of 2012

I know most people hate commercials. But I really enjoy the unexpectedly funny ones. Bonus points for making me remember the brand after I laugh.

Here are my top favorite commercials of this year, in no particular order:

You know your copy is solid when people on the street repeat your dialogue when they see your product. "MY BRAND!" This one features commercial All-Star Allyn Rachel. She is amazing! M&M's managed to make a man in a pink shirt hitting on a cartoon, drop dead sexy. *Slow clap* Minus one point for copying Old Spice. Plus 100 Golden ponies for being funnier than Old Spice. He's good at Tennis. And... the best commercial ever created. I know it's 3 years old. But it's still the best.

Special thanks to all those who attended the Feel Good Film Festival world premiere of my short, The Little Voice in Her Head!

I had a blast and met some very talented artists this past weekend. This is a photo of me with my co-star, Karah Britton and the amazing (and always charming) director, John Myers.

Up next: Totally Normal.
